Literature Review Tips for Getting Started (Bonnel and Smith, 2021, p. 70):

  • Focus your search by connecting two or more words with and.
  • Use both nursing and non-nursing search engines.
  • Do not rely on memory; rather, take good notes on your search, including search engines used, keywords searched, inclusion/exclusion criteria applied, number of articles produced from the search, and the reasons articles were eliminated.
  • Briefly scan abstracts to determine whether there is a possible fit with your project before committing to reading full articles.

  • Questions
  • Describe your literature-review methods, including (at minimum) databases searched, keywords used, years searched, and inclusion/exclusion criteria for your problem of interest.
  •
  • Discuss the difference between empirical versus supportive literature. What supportive literature might be used in your SPP?

Remember my SPP is on COPD.  PLEASE SEND TO WRITER 584.

**my capstone project is on bloodstream infection prevention in dialysis patients using CVC, grafts and fistulas.

Political science

Analyze why older, white adults vote in elections more than other groups while describing how each political party cultivates voters and the role an interest group plays in turning people out to the polls.

You can explore political voting data at the United States Census Bureau’s website here:

Using the Supreme Court’s website, research one case that deals with a contentious issue of your choice. (These issues can be racial discrimination, right to bear arms, same-sex marriage, hate speech, suicide, etc.) After finding a case, describe the Constitutional issue at the heart of the case. Summarize the points, the opinion, and at least one dissent used to come up with their conclusions. Did you agree with the majority opinion or the dissent?

Plan to resolve conflict and promote collaboration

Please consider this as my conflict Scenario: I was working in a hospitalthat had just cut down on costs and the nursing staff had to handle more responsibilities in smaller windows of time. Consequently, the manager had placed big expectations on the shoulders of the nurses. In one occasion, the manager failed to communicate the projected work output, and after the nurse’scompletion of the assignment, the manager believed that the task were not completed as expected.  She yelled at the nurse, embarrassed her in front of the team, and reported her forunderperformance to the management. The situation has caused conflict among them and they were no longer speaking directly to each other unless absolutely necessary. Communication was significantly limited to informationregarding patient care.

Paper:

Imagine that you are a leadership consultant.

1. Use your example of conflict in your professional practice (from the Week 4 discussion) and build on the readings, videos, and peer input you received.

2. Critically analyze the situation and create a plan that would have helped to resolve the conflict and promote collaboration among the group.

3. Your plan should include seven to 10 scholarly references and be seven to eight pages long (page count does not include the cover or references list). Review your conflict scenario and include the following

o Comprehension: Review the details of the conflict scenario, identifying the type and effects of the conflict.

o Application: Relate course content on delegation, empowerment, group dynamics, and constructive group roles and behaviors to the identified conflict scenario.

o Analysis/Synthesis: Clarify understanding of the internal and external variables contributing to the conflict. Create a plan that would have helped to resolve the conflict and promote a high functioning health care team.

o Evaluation: Summarize the value of effective conflict resolution skills for the nurse leader.

Whats Your Research Question

Tracy, please see below for  assignment. This is a continuation of the research project on Cultural competency. If you need me to attach your previous papers let me know. If I may suggest you keep a file because i will be submitting work on this project weekly in which you need to refer.

Thanks.
